Accessibility Statement
Last Reviewed: April 22, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Krasyn is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across all Krasyn EMR interfaces, including the provider application at app.krasyn.com, the patient portal, and the marketing site at krasyn.com.
We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards as we develop and ship new features.
2. Conformance Status
Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 AA. We are a pre-revenue startup in active development. As of the last review date above, we have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. We are working toward full conformance and will update this statement as improvements are made.
3. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known or suspected limitations include:
- Ambient AI Scribe audio controls: Keyboard navigation for audio recording controls is present but may not be fully optimized for all assistive technologies.
- Complex data tables: Some billing and reporting tables may have incomplete ARIA labeling for screen readers.
- Dynamic content: Real-time AI-generated content updates (e.g., note suggestions) may not always trigger appropriate ARIA live region announcements.
- Third-party components: Some embedded third-party UI components (e.g., telehealth video widget) may not fully conform; we are working with vendors to address these gaps.
- Marketing site landing pages: Some landing pages have not yet been audited for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.
We prioritize remediation based on impact to users and will address these items in upcoming releases.
4. Technical Specifications
Krasyn EMR relies on the following technologies for conformance:
- HTML5 and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
- CSS
- JavaScript / Blazor Server (Microsoft .NET 8)
The application has been tested with recent versions of Chrome and Firefox on Windows and macOS. Screen reader testing has been performed with NVDA on Windows. We have not yet completed systematic testing with JAWS or VoiceOver.
5. Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Krasyn EMR. If you experience any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
- Email: info@krasyn.com
- Subject line: Accessibility Issue — Krasyn EMR
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
6. Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) or the relevant accessibility authority in your jurisdiction.
7. Review Schedule
This statement is reviewed and updated at least annually, or following significant changes to the platform. Date last reviewed: April 22, 2026.
